Snow Day

I ordered some new snow boots for myself and they came yesterday, just in time for the snowstorm. I wanted to wear the boots before I cut up the box for recycling, so it was sitting in the hallway when Evelyn got up this morning so she hauled it into the living room and climbed inside. Nothing is more fun than the toys we create with our imagination!

Better Than Television

Evelyn discovered that she can watch the laundry spin and suds. Oh is it exciting!!

I can only hope she always has this much interest in household chores.

Pure Joy!

Evelyn took a long nap this afternoon, so we decided to squeeze in grocery shopping between dinner and bedtime. And since she was a good girl at dinner and smiled and said hi to people and ate A LOT, we decided to reward her with a balloon from the grocery store.

We found a balloon with Rapunzel from Tangled on it and oh the excitement. She talked to it in the car the whole way home and then we clipped it onto her jeans pocket once we got home and she ran miles once we got home just pulling the ribbon and bouncing it off her head.

She even had to take the balloon into her tent and through the tunnel. Ripley wasn't so sure about this whole event, but then again he was the one camping out in Evelyn's tent.
