Evelyn is becoming such a big girl and getting quite the silly personality. She is very shy around new people, but once she warms up, the goofy girl comes out. I don't have a good picture of it, but she has this really cute, scrunched up nose, smile that she gives to people once she decides to be friendly.
We tried coloring. She seemed to like it at first, but then she discovered that she could rip the paper and that was so much more fun than coloring. She also discovered that she could throw her crayons on the floor and break them. And since Momma hates broken crayons, we put them away for a couple of weeks and will have to try again soon.

Happy little artist!
Everyday (so long as it's not blizzarding) Evelyn and I take Ripley for a walk in the morning. That is when Evelyn takes her morning nap. Lately she hasn't been waking up immediately when we get home, so I lay her on the living room floor amongst her morning mess and she sleeps for another 10 minutes or so.
Daddy discovered that Evelyn loves powdered sugar donut holes.
The other day I didn't get the floors mopped while Evelyn was napping so I shut the gate upstairs and let her play in the room where I could still hear her and check on her as I worked. And this is what I came up to after I finished cleaning downstairs.
I have been working on some spring craft projects and Evelyn got ahold of my tape measure. So she decided to run around looking like Grandma. Grandma's sewing skills may have skipped a generation, but it looks like Evie wants to learn!
Fat Tuesday Pazcki!
More powdered sugar donut holes.
Evelyn has been doing a really good job using silverware. She wants to feed herself and use silverware at every meal. Baby silverware is very blunt and difficult to stab and pick up food with, so we got her some seafood forks and demitasse spoons. Now she is a pro! Still a bit messy, but quite successful most of the time.
Such an Silly Monkey!
