Oh the weather outside is frightful…
so we brought the snow inside…
and painted.
Gran made Evelyn and Marabelle matching pajamas.
and Papa brought bopper suits. Evelyn decided bopper suits require helmets.

In February the kids were all about Valentine crafts, or at least Evelyn was all about the craft and Simon was all about the chocolate.
And our groundhogs saw their shadows.
Evelyn had her first birthday party for a friend from school. The invitation said to wear her favorite princess dress. So the day she got her invitation she called Gran and requested a new Tiana dress. She was so excited for the party.
Evelyn's dance class is on Wednesday and during spirit week that meant 80's day. This was the best I could do just shopping in her closet.
It is so fun watching how the kids are getting more and more interested in playing together. This was just an afternoon apple snack that turned into them laying together on the couch making goofy faces at me and each other.
For SpringBreak this year we took a little trip downstate to Chuck E. Cheese and the AirZoo. The day before we were leaving Simon started trying to drive a box around the house. He would sit in it making car noised and occasionally one of us would push him a little and he would cheer. So at dinner that night while everyone else ate, I turned the box into an airplane. Well of course Simon would have nothing to do with it. But Evelyn loved it and flew it around for a while.
The AirZoo was really neat and Simon absolutely love it. He was not so big on getting his picture taken, it took too much time away from looking at all the planes.
There was a kids room that had little rides for the kids and toys to play with. Evelyn was all about the rides.
Simon liked the toys.
There were even some space shuttle things that we all could go in.
But the biggest hit of the trip was sitting in the cockpit of an actual Blue Angel
Very fun place. Especially for a little boy who likes planes!
