Big Weekend Number 1

We had a very exciting (and busy) weekend this past week. Obviously it was a lot of fun as it has taken me until Thursday to recover and post anything.

On Saturday Evelyn was baptized. She was hungry and needed changed, so adding a stranger pouring water on her head, she fussed a bit.


Evie's christening gown was very special. Grandma Sommers made it for her from her own wedding dress! And Grandma's wedding dress was made by Great Grandma. This gown is absolutely gorgeous and so special.


We had a houseful this weekend so we're going to get some pictures of Evie in the gown this weekend when she isn't so overwhelmed. Though Evie was a bit overwhelmed it was a great weekend because she got to meet all of her aunts, uncles, and cousins on Daddy's side of the family. We all had a great time seeing everyone and I am sure Evie will be much more interactive next time.

This coming weekend Evie gets to meet Aunt Abby and Uncle Max so I am sure there will be some fun pictures and stories next week.
