Evie's Mickey Party

Evie will be 3 years old this coming Friday. Amazing how quick the time has gone. We wanted to separate her birthday from the rest of the holiday season, and with Thanksgiving be late this year, we had her birthday party a few weeks early. Back in June/July we went to birthday parties two weeks in a row and ever since Evie has been talking about her Mickey party. So a Mickey party it was!

The food table. We had Hot Diggity Hot Dogs, Mickey Mac&Cheese, Minnie Veggies, Chips & Dale, Donald and Daisy Dip, Goofy Grapes, Pete Pickles, and Clarabelle Cookies.
Mickey Oreo Pops (Thanks Gran!)
Mickey Cake. We had two of these, one for the table and one to set on top of the Pink Peppermint Fudge Ice Cream Cake from Moomers. And yes it was solid ice cream with no cake, and yes that still qualifies as a cake.
Ballooon wreath I made for the front door
Paper chain Mickey in the front window
Window from outside in the evening
Birthday girl!
Grandpa Jim and Grandma Lucy
Aunt Laura wore her Minnie ears all day.
Evie, Landen, and Daddy at kiddie table
Poor Daddy didn't have a chair
Party guests
More party guests
And here is the collection of Simon pictures for the day. He actually kept his ears on for most of the party.

Evie and Landen digging into the pirate toys while everyone else finishes eating.
Landen was singing the theme song to Jake and the Neverland Pirates while they played. It was so cute!
Birthday cake time and all of a sudden someone gets shy.
But she blew out her candle
and was excited for the goodies!
And let the gift opening begin… thank you to Kaitlyn for assisting!

Evie got lots of wonderful gifts. She is blessed with amazing friends and family!

Now let the playing begin!

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Strawberry Shortcake remote control car

Magnet fishing puzzel
Rabbit Racing with Landen and Papa

And after the guests were gone Momma got to play too!
