It has taken a little while to sort through all of these and get a post up but here we go!
Aunt Abby made her annual visit to Michigan a few weeks ago. Unfortunately Uncle Max was not able to make the trip as he does not have to same vacation time as Abby and used his up on an African safari a couple of months ago. The kids have a great collection of postcards from Aunt Abby from all the fun places she visits. So far from this year they have Iceland and South Africa (she didn't see any postcards in Bolivia). Because Abby was spending a week in Michigan on her way home from Bolivia she didn't have to worry about the time change as much as when she comes directly from Sweden. We packed as much into our week as we could. She flew in on Sunday and we had a quiet meal with Aunt Abby, Gran and Papa.
The next day we went to a park for fun and a picnic lunch!
We finished off the day with some books and goofing off around home.
I didn't take pictures everyday, but I did take a lot on the days I did. We went to the local Children's Museum (a favorite around this household).
After lunch and a quick toy store stop in Suttons Bay we headed home to enjoy the new purchase! Aunt Abby is the queen of giant bubbles!
The next day was more fun in the yard, Simon really like going under the parachute, he just won't use the handles yet.
I taught the kids how to shoot Aunt Abby with the water cannon!
Aunt Abby chased down the ice cream truck, big favorite of the week.
Aunt Abby had not seen Frozen yet so that had to be fixed.
Simon is done with Frozen.
Aunt Abby didn't fly out until mid afternoon on Saturday, so we got some more quality time outside before she left.
