We had a very fun and busy day celebrating Evie's 2nd Birthday. The day started with all of us snuggling and sleeping in, Evelyn even got to come and cuddle in our bed for the special occasion. We then headed into her new big girl room. It is not completely finished, I need to hang things on the walls, fill the bookcase and move all of her many toys. Her new big girl room had her two big birthday surprises and she was excited. We had a relaxing morning around the house playing and then headed downtown to Evelyn's favorite lunch spot and she enjoyed a EuroDog and sugar cookie. We hit a couple of toy stores and then came home. She fell asleep on the way home and I didn't have the blackout curtains up in her big girl room yet, so we had to put her down in the nursery for one last nap in there (fingers crossed). After naptime we played more, had spaghetti dinner, and then had cake! Evelyn wasn't so sure about why we were singing to her, but she loved blowing out the candles (we actually did this twice). Then is was time for her first night in her big girl bed and she stayed there all night!
